About Bobby

Hi. I'm Bobby. I am 23 years old and have a Bachelor of Science with a concentration in Business with a Non-Profit Management Minor from Appalachian State University

I love playing the guitar and pretty much anything having to do with music.

I work for Samaritan's Purse and had the opportunity to serve with them in Haiti during the summers of 2010 and 2011. Now I have the opportunity to serve with them in South Sudan for an entire year. I love the mission field and even though I feel totally unworthy of my opportunity to go to South Sudan, I am blessed to be able to
step out in faith
and try to spread some of the same unending love that God has constantly shown me throughout my life.

I have so many things to be thankful for a wonderful family
consisting of my mother and father Craig and Michele Bender.

Two amazing siblings that I am extremely proud of Becky and Eddie.

I also have two wonderful dogs Hemby and Squirt. God has blessed me not only with this family at home but also with an amazing church family at Spirit of Joy in Weddington, NC.

I venture to Africa in hopes of making a difference while trying to shine God's light in this ever darkening world.

Thank you for your time and support in reading this blog and continue to pray for me over the next year as I embark upon this great mission that God has called me on.
